Logsdon Lab Featured in Nature and Science Friday
A new publication in Nature from the Logsdon Lab has revealed significant insights into complex genetic variations in nearly complete human genomes, highlighting the diversity and structural variations across populations.
The study shows that scientists can now accurately piece together more than 99% of the human genome by studying the DNA of just 65 people from around the world. This breakthrough helps us better understand the full range of human genetic diversity and could lead to improved healthcare for everyone.
Listen to Dr. Logsdon’s interview on Science Friday, a public radio show and podcast with 1.8 million listeners weekly on average.
